Happy Children's Day

Janice celebrated Children's Day at school on Thursday. All students were asked to bring a handmade mask to school that day for mask competition cum party. They were given a duration of one week to prepare the mask with their parents.

Being a lazy mom and out of colourful papers and accessories, I just made her a simple Hello Kitty mask. I only used white A4 papers to make collage on the Hello Kitty's face, pink coloured paper to make the ribbon, yellow coloured paper to make the nose, black marker pen to draw the whiskers and took out the elastic band from an old mask to put on this Hello Kitty mask. It took me about 1 hour to complete everything. Lazy and easy is my new motto!

 Getting ready for school!

We reached early and nobody was in the classroom yet. Then I asked Clayton: "Do you want to take photo?" And he nod his head. My cute little darling.

Funfair

This funfair is a yearly event and is set up for around one month at the open area near Queensbay Mall. Last time, it used to be operated during the Chinese ghost month and hubby, being the typical traditional and old-fashioned Chinese, did not want to bring us there due to pantang-larang of what to do and what not to do during the hungry ghost festival. This year however, much to our anticipation, the funfair's schedule has been moved to October! Finally, we had the chance to explore the funfair with the kids!

No parking fees and no entrance fees. You only pay for whatever rides/games of your choice. 1 token = RM2. Most rides require 2 tokens. 1 token is for those really cheap kiddie rides that go round and round.

Ferris wheel costs me and Janice RM10. RM6 for adult and RM4 for child. It went on for 5 big rounds and we can see the nightview of Queensbay area. Very spectacular and breath-taking! Janice is a very brave girl and is not afraid of heights, unlike her timid daddy :D Hubby took care of Clayton while Janice and I were up high on the ferris wheel. I could see Clayton cry when we went higher and higher. Poor boy.

Ok, enough of ramblings. Let the photos do the talking now.

Clayton was slightly feverish that day due to teething that's why I put on a sweater for him

He looks like a penguin here :D

Yo, yo! Check it out, man!

He was busy walking around the whole restaurant!
